Florida Finishing Trades Institute
The Finishing Trades Institute (FTI) is the education department for the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades . The FTI’s core purpose is to develop and expand a qualified and competitive work force for the finishing trades industries and oversee the apprenticeship training program where those who wish to enter our trades learn their craft.
International Painters and Allied Trades
The men and women of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT) work mainly in what are called the Finishing Trades – commercial and industrial painting, glazing (glass), floor covering installation, drywall finishing and sign and display, tradeshow. However, these are only a few of the crafts in which our proud members make a successful living.
